The Oil Palm is widely grown in Malaysia and Indonesia on a commercial basis along with other Equatorial countries.

Palm oil is today recognised as a versatile and nutritious oil, high in vitamins and antioxidants and trans-fat free.
Palm Oil is refined into two seperate products, the liquid Olein which is mainly used as a cooking and frying oil and
Stearin - it's solid form - extensively used in food processing. Around 80% of Olein produced is used as food,
with it's low linoleic acid content, high antioxidant levels and it's ability to be less prone to oxidation and/or deterioration
the food uses of the versatile Palmolein are wide rangeing.
